If in case you can take some time out of your busy schedule you are welcome to come to us and volunteer for the children. Though the time will be short but your contribution will be of immense value for the child you are attending to. Boarding and lodging will be yours.
We have special educators who go to attend children with different disabilities in the Home Based Education Program sponsored by Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA). Each educator has at least 5-6 children to attend to on a weekly basis. These children are either bed-ridden or are profound in their respective disabilities or live too far away from the main connectivity which makes it impossible for them to come to our day care centre on a regular basis. Even our physiotherapists have to visit them at their domicile.
Volunteering for these children is certainly like visiting a temple. Each child is so pure and beautiful in their hearts yet so very difficult to understand that it is a challenge in itself for any volunteer to go deep into the mind of the child and evaluate the process which is to be applied to bring out the best from their minds.
