Ganpati Education Society is an NGO run by members who are educationists and social workers. We are a non-profit, non-political and non-religious organization. Established in 2003, we began our dedicated work in the field of disability in 2005. We strive to make the lives of underprivileged individuals and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) more dignified, meaningful, and self-reliant, ensuring they receive all rights guaranteed by the Constitution of India.
Our registered office is located near Telephone Exchange, Kunihar, Tehsil Arki, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh. We operate across Himachal Pradesh with registrations under the National Trust, RPWD Act 2016, FCRA, and hold 80G tax exemption certification for Indian donors.

Running Pragati Institute of Vocational Courses and ITI since 2004, training rural youth in market-ready skills including computer applications and tailoring.

2005Since
Home-Based Education: Supporting children with special needs aged 6-18 years across Solan district since 2006.
Disha-Cum-Vikas Day Care Centre: Early intervention for children aged 0-6 years and skill development for persons with disabilities aged 10+ years.
Free Physiotherapy: Regular sessions at our centre and through home visits for enrolled children.
Sahyogi Caregiver Training: Certified training program for 25 young women from BPL families in 2017.
2004Since
Pragati Institute of Vocational Courses: Recognized under MHRD, GOI. Trained over 200 rural youth in computer applications, cutting, tailoring, and dressmaking since 2004.
Pragati ITI: Approved by Department of Technical Education and Ministry of Labour, offering formal technical trades.
Teacher Training Centre: Affiliated with RCI and IGNOU for upskilling special education teachers.
2023World
Special Olympics Bharat: Our athletes regularly participate in national and international events.
Avnish Kaundal: Participated in the Special Olympics World Summer Games (2023).
Riya: Participated in the Special Olympics World Winter Games (2025).
Infrastructure: Special Sports Stadium & Playground under construction in Kamla Village with 4-bigha donated land.
We stand up for the rights, equal opportunities, and inclusion of people with physical or mental disabilities. We provide specialized education, tools, and training to children with disabilities so they can live with courage, self-confidence, and dignity.
We teach practical, market-relevant skills to rural youth so they can find employment, start their own small businesses, and make villages self-reliant. We inspire and train young people to set up their own training centers and enterprises in their local areas.
